There is a rising movement in Tennessee and it is taking place just outside of Nashville in what used to be the small hamburg of Antioch, and things are only growing brighter for this rising community. What just last century was farmland, homes, and businesses now are now growing at a very fast rate. For a while, Antioch used just the one zip code but due to its growing population now has two.
Therapid expansion of this area is the fastest growing neighborhood in Tennessee, and because of that, there are a great many economic opportunities. Employment is available at the township scales up, with most industries such as construction and retail recruiting to meet building demands. Now is a good time to be a subcontractor, or to open your own business if you feel that your skill set meets the market requirements.
The community also has class facilities such as the Ford Ice Rink, and the Antioch High School which has jumped in admissions over the past few years. Real estate is certainly more affordable than a lot of other similar areas across the country with median house prices currently sitting at $184,200 allowing families to get their toehold on purchasing a family home.
Located less than 20 minutes away is the Tennessee International airport allowing a fast access to cities around the state and the wider country. The airport is also one of the major employers of the region, again driving the local economy with employment and wages.
Swedish furniture and home supplies company Ikea is looking to invest in the area with a store and shipping hub. Bridgestone has also expressed interest which will bring more labor requirements to the area and further minimize unemployment. There have also been discussions surrounding a proposed 600-acre regional park which will further boost the region.
If you do take time to visit Antioch, why not join in with the community spirit and cheer on with the rhythmic Ravens marching band, the band from Cane Ridge High Scool as they perform, or take in a game of football with the Antioch Ravens and be a part of the action yourself.
If you are thinking about a move you can not do too much better than making the move to Antioch and dropping some roots yourself and make the most of the opportunities that will be abundant as this township or satellite city continues on its run of prosperity.
